Before our kids were born, I envisioned long walks with strollers through the park, soccer-mom days, practicing T-ball or swimming… it never quite worked out that way though. If you’re a mom I’m sure that you know how that goes. Instead, I gained weight and it seemed like nothing I did seemed to have any effect on my weight. I began to get depressed and didn’t even want to spend any time outside period. Of course, that affected not only me, my self-confidence and my ever-growing waistline, but our kids too. I knew I had to find something!
After a month or so of reading everything I could about a few of the different “super” diets I could find, I settled on trying acai berry. I mean, if Dr. Oz and Oprah were such big fans then it surely couldn’t be something that didn’t work or worse – something that would end up being bad for me. Right? Right. Low and behold, after only a couple of months I found my jeans were falling off of me and I needed to buy some new clothes – not nice on the wallet, but was definitely a confidence-booster. These days, I recommend acai berry to anyone who is having trouble with weight. It saved me, it saved my life and it put the fun back into my relationship with our kids. We’re always at the park running around now!
